Another Exercusion@the Bau Palm Oil Mill

One field trip after another? Yes! Just last Friday, 6 of us brought over 30 From 1 & 2 kids to visit the local Oil in Bau. I never knew that there was such factory here. Well, at least I got to see the real process of how they produce the oil, etc. The mill isn't that big. They only have about 80 employees in the whole company. They also showed us all kind of fruits. The one attacked by rats was really disgusting though.

We weren't allowed to take pictures in the mill itself. However, the students & I have itchy fingers, we just can't help ourselves but clicking away...

Hey, the management of the mill prepared breakie for us! How blessed!

Shocking! Our Rafflesia has turn itself into oil palm!!!

Since Wind Cave was just a short distant away, I had the opportunity to officially visit the cave. I've heard so much about it and just the week before that, I only had the chance to hang around outside the cave with the primary kids. And hey, it's really not bad at all!

Thank God for such a wonderful weather. It rained heavily in the morning and stopped just in time for us to get on the bus. It was a cool morning :@)

The 3rd picture shows the Stick Insect!

Bird nest, anyone?

Goodbye...
